Terms of Reference
Purpose
The Academic Support Advisory Committee is an advisory committee to the Senior Management Group and to the Academic Board, through the Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Information Services and Technologies) and the Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Staff Development and Student Affairs) on:
- Planning and policy development relating to the provision of academic and student support services in the University
- The deployment of specific-purpose funds provided for the development of academic and student support infrastructure in or used by the University

The Committee has the power to co-opt other members. It is expected that Heads of Academic Support Division programs will be in attendance at each meeting as required. At present these include:
- Director, Information Services
- Director, Information Technology and Resources
- Director, Student Affairs
- Director, Teaching and Learning Development
All members of the Committee shall not be of the same gender
Frequency
At least 3 times per year
Responsibility for Servicing
Divisional Executive Officer (Academic Support)
Sub Groups
The committee may establish sub-committees as it considers necessary to advise it on specific matters.
