The Web Policy and Management Group will provide advice to the Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Information Services and Technologies), and make recommendations as it determines to the Senior Management Group and/or the Academic Support Advisory Committee, on:

• The objectives and priority developments for the JCUWeb.
• The content to be available via the University's corporate high-level web pages, and the responsibilities for maintenance and update of that content.
• The design of corporate high-level, Faculty- and Division-level web pages, in line with overall University branding and corporate image guidelines.
• Standards and guidelines for JCU web content management, presentation, navigation, search capabilities, and metadata.
• Appropriate mechanisms for attaining a high level of integration, quality and security of JCUWeb content.

The Group will also act as the Steering Committee for major development projects directly associated with JCUWeb.
