OS-HELP selection process
Eligible applicants will be ranked on the basis of academic merit and OS-HELP loans will be offered in order of rank. The Department of Education, Science and Training will also check the record of the eligible applicants to ensure that they have not already received OS-HELP on more than one occasion.
All applicants will be notified in writing of the outcome of their application, either within two months of receiving the application or within two months of the application closing date, whichever is later.
To accept an offer of an OS-HELP loan, applicants must complete both the OS-HELP debt confirmation form and the OS-HELP loan acceptance form.
