Cross institutional study

JCU students wishing to study at another university

If you wish to undertake subjects at another university for credit towards your degree at JCU, then you should contact that university for the appropriate application form. Most universities will also require students to gain permission from the Associate Dean or Faculty Registrar at JCU. Even if this is not required it is advisable to request prior approval to ensure that you will be given credit for the subjects once completed.

Students from other universities wishing to study at JCU

Cross-institutional study allows you to study certain subjects at James Cook University for credit to your degree at your home university. Application should be made using the JCU form Application for Cross-Institutional Study .

Cross-institutional students do not need to attend an enrolment advisory session.
