Orientation Week

An orientation program for all new undergraduate students is held in the week before Study Period 1 and Study Period 2 starts. The orientation activities assist you to find your way around campus, introduce you to staff and students who are taking your course, help you to check you enrollment is correct, and give you some valuable advice on techniques for studying effectively. And of course there's a social program as well, organised by the Student Association. Orientation gives new students a head start, and all new students are advised to take part in as many orientation activities as possible.

All students may also choose to try our Online Learning Skills Resources. This may be particularly useful for external students who are unable to attend the on-campus orientation activities relating to learning and writing skills.
