What if I want to apply for fourth-year Psychology Honours?

Completed Application for Honours –where JCU is not the home institution forms are due to the School of Psychology on 14 November 2008 for 2009 entry. If you are a current student at JCU, see the School for the relevant form. Students are unable to start fourth-year psychology mid year.

Australian and New Zealand students

You will be advised of the outcome in December and if successful will be sent the appropriate enrolment documentation to complete.

International students

You are required to submit your letter of invitation to Honours to the International Student Centre. You will be made a new Offer of Placement and a new Confirmation of Enrolment will be issued upon your acceptance of the offer. The new offer contract will quote tuition fees based on the year of commencement in the new course. This means that the tuition fee may be higher than your previous course. You should contact Immigration to apply for an extension of your student visa.

All students

While Honours students are not in fact postgraduate students, they are invited to attend the Postgraduate and Honours Students' Induction Day, held on both the Townsville and Cairns campuses in March or April, as much of the information given on that day is invaluable for Honours students. Further information may be obtained by checking the Postgraduate Bulletins Board found at JCU News and Events or by contacting:
