School and subject charges
Under the Higher Education Funding Act 1988 and the provisions outlined in the Minister's Guidelines: Advice to Higher Education Institutions on Fees for Ancillary or Additional Services, universities may charge students for goods and services which are ancillary or additional to their course of study.
Charges for goods and services, not including field trip related expenses, as approved by University Council is provided below.

Payments for school and subject charges can be made at:
Townsville campus:
Student Enquiry Centre from 9.00am – 4.45pm, Monday to Friday.
Cairns campus:
Cashier from 9.00am – 3.00pm, Monday to Friday.
