HOT LINKS |  The Student Association @ JCU is here to represent you, support you and generally ensure you're well looked after during your time here. When you choose to become a member of the Student Association you will receive a membership card. Simply start flashing your card around campus and you'll receive member discounts at the gym; all of our food outlets; at the Club and social sport nominations; participation in the Fisher Shield competition and access to our specialist support services! Things like tax help; student employment; welfare support (including a Centrelink access point) and then the all important academic support for appealing your grades and representing you against disputes with your lecturers. All part of the many benefits of becoming a Student Association member! Of course, there's a tonne of other stuff we do too. Have a squizz through our site and you'll start to get the idea! Basically, whenever there's a need that's not being met, we work on delivering it to our members! Soooo, if you've got an idea for us, no matter how big or small, please let us know and we'll see what we can do! Becoming a Member Membership of the Student Association costs only $40 for a full year, irrespective of when you join.
