If you have completed subjects at another institution, or as part of a different degree at JCU, then it may be possible to credit some subjects to your current degree. Should you wish to apply for credit, you should complete an Application for Credit for Previous Studies form and forward it to:
- Townsville campus - your Faculty Office
- Cairns campus - Student Administration
Please attach a certified copy of your academic record if your studies were undertaken at another institution, along with a description of the subjects undertaken from the relevant Student Handbook. This is not necessary for studies undertaken at JCU.
If the allocation of credit will influence your subject selection, you will need to have the application processed before teaching begins. You are encouraged to submit your application for credit early to allow plenty of time for it to be processed before the start of teaching.
The last date to submit an application for consideration in Study Period 1 (Semester 1) is Friday 31 January 2005 and for consideration in Study Period 2 (Semester 2), by Friday 17 June 2005.
