National Indigenous Cadetship Project (NICP)

The National Indigenous Cadetship Project is a scheme that provides financial assistance and work experience to Indigenous students enrolled full time in a university degree.

The scheme provides students with:
• a study allowance between March and November (up to 40 weeks)
• a paid salary while you undertake work experience during the semester break (12 weeks).

Who is eligible?
Anyone of Australian Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent, who identifies as an Australian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander in the community and who is undertaking a full-time undergraduate degree.
