Welcome
Language and Learning Services provide the following services to all JCU students:
- Workshops and individual consultations to help students improve organisational skills, writing skills, reading and note taking, studying for exams, oral presentations, referencing, English grammar, maths, statistics and science.
- Courses and programs to assist in the transition to tertiary study including a Student Mentor Program and Faculty specific orientation programs.
- Individual and group support for International students and students from non-English speaking backgrounds.
- Research and evaluation of current learning support initiatives.
- Support for academic staff in the integration and development of generic skills within the curriculum.
