The development of these modules was undertaken by the Learning Advisers in the Academic Support Division of James Cook University.
Content for this module was developed by Helen Treston , Alan Calder and June Bode. Material on the essay writing process was based on a resource developed by Manakau Institute of Technology's Learning Centre in Auckland, New Zealand.
Project management and instructional design is being undertaken by Alan Calder.
Programming is being completed by Annette Lewis with graphic artwork by Tony Cowan.
Student mentors and first year students continually evaluate this module as part of the Mentor Program, Orientation Week and Study Skills workshop programs at JCU. Sandra Vasta, Gayle Kyle, Filiz Tansley and Anne Eaton provided essays for the section on Sample Essays.
