Teaching Induction
The teaching induction program at JCU sets out to welcome newly appointed academic staff to the local community of scholars. The program is premised on your expertise in your own discipline area, and aims to help you share that knowledge and experience with JCU students.
A suite of teaching induction programs is offered to meet the different needs of the diverse groups of teachers across our campuses.
As a condition of your employment, you are required to complete an induction program into teaching and learning at JCU. This is part of the probation process for full-time employees and a requirement for ongoing appointment for sessional employees.
