The Teaching and Learning Development Unit, the Teaching and Learning Academy and the Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor – Academic have collaboratively organised Learning and Teaching Week 2013. The week showcased the collaborative scholarship of teaching and learning at James Cook University, both locally and nationally. With a focus theme of Collaborate and connect for student learning.

Teaching and Learning Week 2012

Teaching and Learning Week 2012 provided an opportunity to work collaboratively and across boundaries to rethink teaching and assessment practices, showcase innovative practice, and consider ways of redesigning and improving student learning experiences.

Special guests included Associate Professor Betty Leask, Professor Mike Keppell, Professor Sid Nair, Professor Keithia Wilson and Professor Kerri-Lee Krause.

The program of events for Teaching and Learning Week was collaboratively developed and sponsored by Curriculum Refresh, Teaching and Learning Development and JCU Teaching and Learning Academy Special Interest Groups (SIGs).Teaching and Learning Academy Fellowship recipients for 2012 also presented sessions.
