Eligibility

Nomination is open to academic staff, general staff, sessional staff and institutional associates. Both team and individual nominations are encouraged.

Nominees for Citations are not eligible to be included in more than one nomination in any year, eg as an individual and as a member of a team. Teams may be of any size. However, nominations may name no more than five members. All nominations must relate to contributions to student learning in higher education. For the purposes of these citations, activities that relate to the improvement of learning in undergraduate and coursework postgraduate programs are eligible.

Winners of National Citations are no longer eligible for renomination within three years of receiving an award.

Faculty nominees of a previous year who were unsuccessful at the National Citations, may resubmit their application in the current year. These should be submitted directly to the office of the DVC. As a courtesy you should advise your Faculty of your intentions. Please note that you will not be eligible to receive Faculty citations/funding for these submissions.
