Referencing a Journal Article

Science Journal When you put a journal article in your reference list or bibliography, you need to include the title of the article, as well as the name of the journal itself. Don't forget to put the volume, issue numbers or other information that might be important in identifying the journal issue you used.

This is how you reference a journal article:

Author's surname, initials. (year of publication). Title of article. Title of Journal, volume number
(issue number), page numbers.

In the space provided below try referencing the following article as it should appear in a bibliography or reference list:

Author: Rogers, G
Article title: Reflections on teaching remote and isolated children
Journal: Education in Rural Australia
Volume(Issue): 9(2)
Year: 1999, Pages: 65 to 68
