GETTING TO COCONUT BEACH
Transfers to the resort from Cairns International Aerodrome (a 2.5 hour drive) are included in the conference registration fee. Closer to the day of the conference we will ask you to inform us of your time of arrival. The resort vehicle can only accommodate 12 and normally transfers two loads of visitors per day. We will organise an extra bus to transfer registrants to Cape Tribulation.
Registrants who provide insufficient warning i.e. who do not notify us of their time of arrival, will have to pay their own way (» $49 per person)!

Personal Limousine Service

$242 per car. Car can transfer up to 4 persons, but larger vehicles can also be arranged on request for an additional fee. Personal limousine transfer times are flexible, although times are restricted by the Daintree River vehicular ferry, which operates between 6am and midnight every day.
Light Aircraft (Hinterland Airways)

$280 one way (minimum 2 persons). Includes "meet & greet" and transfers between Cairns Airport and general aviation or transfers from international/domestic terminal to general aviation terminal for flight - look for your name on the meet & greet sign. The scenic flight over the reef and rainforest to Coconut Beach takes around 25 minutes, and then a 20 minute drive from Cow Bay airstrip to the resort, using our own vehicle. Scheduled flights leave Cairns and Cow Bay daily. Please check for flight times. Charters ARE available. Minimum of two passengers required for flight. Luggage allowance is 7kgs per person on the flight. Additional luggage is transported by road to the resort. Extra person cost (providing there are other passengers flying) is $132 per person one way plus $15 meet & greet fee. Meet & greet service is available in either direction. In the event of cancellation of air services by Hinterland Aviation due to weather or other unforseen circumstances, Hinterland bookings will be transferred by limousine.
Helicopter Transfer

aprox $305 per person each way. Transfer departs Cairns at 11am and Port Douglas at 11.30am, with arrival time being at approximately 11.45am. Return flights depart Coconut Beach Resort at 2.45pm daily, arriving in Port Douglas at 3.10pm and Cairns at 3.25pm. Charter flights are available and transfers must be requested when booking accommodation.
