Festival of Dangerous Ideas - Sydney Opera House Live link to Cairns & Townsville

FODI

JCU Cairns and Townsville are the newest venues for this challenging Sydney Opera House event which live streams two 2016 festival highlights, bringing some of the world’s leading thinkers to North Queensland  to discuss and debate the important ideas of our time.

Beginning with Break a Rule a Day, best-selling author and journalist Lionel Shriver toys with the theory that a rule broken daily is better for your health than an apple. Next Annabel Crabb and David Marr will spark a no doubt hilarious debate in The Government We Deserve? off the back of the July election.

Please note both talks will be Auslan signed. This Alumni event will be shared with the general public, please pass this information on, expecially to anyone for whom Auslan signing would be significant.
