Learning Teaching & Student Engagement have been awarded a prestigious National Program Award for Excellence in Enhancing Learning for the JCU Learning Centre. The Awards were announced in Canberra recently by the Minister, Senator The Hon Simon Birmingham.

The core innovation of the JCU Learning Centre is that it is a systematic and whole-of-institution approach to learning support and development. 

And we know that it works; it has had proven benefits in retention, engagement and achievement of our diverse student cohorts here at JCU. 

This National Award recognises our hard work in supporting the success of all students and it is wonderful recognition of our transformative institutional approach and innovative sector leading program.
