New procedures for staging a JCU event on and off campus
The Marketing Directorate Events Team have implemented a new process for hosting JCU events on and off campus. The purpose of this is to streamline events, avoid event date clashes and ensure all relevant parties are aware of events taking place.
To assist with the planning of events, the Events Team have developed a JCU Events Toolkit in collaboration with key university departments to serve as a useful tool for staff and students that organise events both on and off campus.
A copy of the Events Toolkit which can be found under the ‘marketing toolkit’ on the staff homepage. Starting from today, all staff members or students wishing to hold an event will need to complete an online Event Registration form.
Upon submission it will be assessed by the Events Team and once approved, the event organiser will be notified to commence planning their event.
