The Australian Government and the Australian War Memorial, supported by the Commonwealth Bank and Telstra, are proud to be bringing the Spirit of Anzac Centenary Experience to Townsville in September.

The Spirit of Anzac Centenary Experience follows a chronological timeline spanning from pre-war Australia to the present day, using a mix of arresting visuals, artefacts, audio and film to engage visitors.

Venue: Townsville Entertainment and Convention Centre

Dates: 2nd- 11th September 2016.

Shifts: A shift is normally:  

Morning 8:00am - 2:30pm

Afternoon 1:30pm – 7:00pm

The experience is the flagship community event within the Commonwealth Government’s National Programme commemorating the Anzac Centenary.

The Spirit of Anzac Centenary Experience follows a chronological timeline spanning pre-war Australia to the present day and uses a mix of arresting visuals, artefacts, audio and film to engage visitors in a very stimulating and emotional manner.

We are currently seeking enthusiastic volunteers to help welcome visitors to the experience in addition to providing assistance and support at each location on our national tour.
