Gisela is a qualified architect and urban designer at CA Architects and is an Adjunct Associate Professor at JCU. She is passionate about urban planning and design, and is focused on how residential, commercial, retail and public spaces can combine to create the very best urban environments. In her architecture she focuses on place-specific design solutions which aim to fit into its tropical landscape, capturing the elements of light and shade and providing the building’s users with a captivating tropical experience for living, working or visiting. Her passion for open space planning, in-between places and the urban context and architecture has been of benefit to her work for the last 14 years.
