Students registered with AccessAbility Services have access to software called Dolphin EasyConverter which allows them to format course material into MP3, CD, Digital Talking Books, large print and Braille. AccessAbility Services staff can provide training and assistance for students if required.
An E-Text is an electronic copy of a text book provided by the publisher. E-Texts are ordered through AccessAbility Services for any student with a diagnosed print disability. The student must purchase an original copy of the text book and provide the receipt to an AccessAbility Services staff member.
Course materials such as lecture notes and readings etc can be formatted to suit individual needs. For example: audio, enlarged text, Daisy Talking Books etc.
Students who require alternative formatting to be completed by AccessAbility Services staff should contact AccessAbility Services at the earliest opportunity to allow sufficient time for formatting.
