Experience all that uni life has to offer in the newest student accommodation at JCU Townsville, Bebegu Yumba campus, Douglas.
Set to open its doors in 2022, the newest accommodation will feature a range of spaces to study, relax and socialise. Connect and gather with friends in the Sports Lounge and Ground Floor Bistro, collaborate in Group Study Spaces, or wind down and take in the view at the Roof Garden Sky Lounge.
Located next to another new project, JCU’s Technology Innovation Complex, the newest student accommodation will be home to more than 400 students. Designed to provide contemporary and affordable student accommodation in a secure, safe and environmentally sustainable environment, the facility will feature study bedrooms in group-share accommodation, high-quality communal facilities, and a centralised, self-catered ‘master-chef’ style kitchen and dining space.
The accommodation features include:
- 314 individual study bedrooms with shared bathroom facilities
- 72 study bedrooms with ensuites
- 17 accessible bedrooms for students with disabilities
- Centralised self-catered ‘master chef’ style kitchen and dining spaces
- A high level of communal facilities (study, social and activity spaces – including a music room)
- Secure Bike Storage
