Townsville Colleges and Halls

Approximately 1,475 students live in student colleges and halls on campus in Townsville. Most colleges and halls offer full board accommodation, providing three meals a day. Some have self-catering options, where you cook for yourself.

Student colleges and halls provide a single study/bedroom furnished with bed, desk, chair, bookshelves, wardrobe, phone connection, internet access, and email address. Additional facilities may include computer rooms, televisions, laundry, sport and recreation resources, and tutorial support.

There are three affiliated colleges on the JCU Townsville campus:

JCU Halls of Residence

JCU manages four non-denominational halls for 770 students:

  • University Hall
  • George Roberts Hall
  • Western Courts
  • Rotary International House

Options include full board and self-catering, single and twin-share rooms, and townhouses. Some wheelchair accessible self-catering units are available.
