We recognise that many students experience financial hardship at some point in their time at JCU. Contributing to the Student Hardship fund enables us to help students during an extraordinary time of need, like so many experienced during the floods 2019. Grants of $500 will allow students to overcome a temporary obstacle and keep focused on their studies.
JCU’s experiential learning fund enables life-changing experiences for students. Through a competitive application process, students can apply for grants from this fund that allow them to undertake placement and work integrated learning experiences that they may not have been able to fund without assistance. These experiences allow them to gain critical skills and a deeper understanding of their chosen field of study, thus making them better prepared for success.
Your gift to JCU’s scholarship and grant programs help students realise their dreams. Scholarships and grants can be established in your name, or that of a loved one, and create a powerful legacy.
Scholarships: are merit-based awards with various criteria that reflect the values and purpose of the donor. Students are required to apply for scholarships.
