Mayo Lecture 2022
The Mayo Lecture is an annual event run by the College of Business, Law and Governance in conjunction with the James Cook University Law Students Society (JCULSS) in honour of Mrs Marylyn Mayo, JCU's foundation law staff member. The JCULSS instituted the Mayo Lecture in 1991 as a tribute to Marylyn's work in maintaining a law presence at JCU and, ultimately, in establishing the full law degree here.
This year’s Mayo Lecture will be delivered by His Honour Justice Lincoln Crowley.
Date: 14 October 2022
Time: 6.30 – 7.30pm
Venue: Science Place lecture auditorium.
The lecture will be followed by light refreshments at Central Plaza.
