Position Description | The DocuCare position is a proactive role ensuring the smooth operation and print quality for all students and staff at JCU. DocuCare staff are responsible for replacement of consumables and paper as well as preventative maintenance on all multi-function devices (MFDs). They also provide training and are available onsite for any problems and queries that students and staff may have. |
Selection Criteria | While there is no specific selection criteria for the role it is beneficial that the applicant have a basic understanding of print processes and the applications used by staff and students. The majority of the role is learnt over time as there are many variables in regards to the number of MFDs and different users at JCU. |

Position Description | The Client Services Assistant as a member of the Client Services team, provides quality library and information services and lending assistance through the Library InfoHelp service and appropriate levels of user assistance and referrals as needed. The incumbent resolves routine client problems associated with library lending and use policies and procedures; and receipts payments taken at the InfoHelp service point. |

Selection Criteria | Physically capable of moving large amounts of library materials including lifting and shelving heavy volumes, and pushing trolleys of books. |
