How to add a copyright notice

Add a copyright notice in Panopto

Overview

Sometimes you may be required to add a Copyright notice to a video in Panopto. To help with understanding when this is required refer to the libraries Recording and Streaming copyright information.

How to add a copyright notice

  1. Navigate to the video in the Panopto dashboard
  2. Hover over the video and click Settings
    settings button
  3. In the settings menu select the tick box next to Show copyright notice
    4. Copyright notice
  4. The JCU Copyright notice will automatically display for five seconds before the start of the video:
    Notice appears
