Bachelor of Education (Online)

Education Student Success Officer for the Bachelor of Education (Online)

One of the benefits of studying the Bachelor of Education Online with James Cook University is the amount of support you receive along the way. Once you enrol into your first subject online, you will be put in touch with your own dedicated Education Student Success Officer (ESSO).

What does the Education Student Success Officer do?

We will work as an extra pair of eyes and ears for our students, ensuring that they’re on track with assessments and don’t miss any important key dates. Most importantly, we are a listening ear and a key motivator, helping you get over the finish line when life gets busy. We will be your first point of contact for support. If we can’t help you, we’ll be able to link you in with the person or service who can.

How do I contact the Education Student Success Officer?

We will reach out to you at regular intervals during the study period to check in and make sure you are on track, however you can also reach out to us at any time via phone or email. We can even schedule a phone or video chat at a time that is convenient to you.

Phone 07 4781 6222

We are committed to responding to inquiries within 24 business hours. Our office hours are Monday through Friday, 8am to 4pm AEST (closed weekends and public holidays).

Who are the Education Student Success Officers?

Hi my name is Kate.

I have worked in the higher education sector for over seven years in a variety of support roles.

I’m passionate about supporting our students to achieve their academic and career goals. I love seeing the way that students can be both challenged and inspired for the better by their learning experiences.

In my downtime, I love travelling, camping and exploring the outdoors.
