The Immunoglobulin Laboratory enables peripheral immune resistance in humans to be examined. Specifically, immune resistance has been investigated in aging, circadian cycles and performance. The significance of immune interactions with the neurohormones, melatonin and cortisol, are further explored through collaborative links with the biochemistry laboratory in the School of Psychological Science at La Trobe University, Melbourne. Other areas of research include:
a project aimed at examining outcomes in domestic violence education interventions;
a seasonal analysis of crisis calls in far north Queensland;
ethical issues arising from legislation governing legal and illegal substance use.
