The Medical Education Unit (MEU) is responsible for planning, coordinating and evaluating the MBBS course and associated offerings including the Physician Assistant program. The unit works closely with Academic Services to ensure the program is rolled out as smoothly and as efficiently as possible. Key areas of interest include curriculum, assessment, evaluation, and delivery of the foundation studies and clinical studies components of the MBBS course.
Members of the MEU currently chair a number of committees in the Medicine discipline: the Board of Studies, the Assessment Committee, and the Foundation Studies and Clinical Studies committees.

The evaluation officer has developed the College’s evaluation framework and maintains a database of all graduates with information on their location of practice and career pathways which has formed the basis of a number of published studies of graduate outcomes.
