Behaviour, Husbandry and Welfare

Dr Janice Lloyd is an Associate Professor in Veterinary Behaviour, Welfare & Ethics, and is the Final Year Coordinator for JCU’s undergraduate veterinary degree.

Janice teaches animal behaviour and welfare to all 5 years of the degree.

Her research interests are human-animal relationships with a focus on service dogs and companion animal behaviour problems.

She leads a team that helps staff and students handle their animal patients in a less stressful manner in the veterinary hospital.
