Getachew Agegnehu Jenberu
Soil fertility depletion, declining agricultural productivity because of reduction of soil organic matter (SOM), nutrient imbalance and climate change due to increased greenhouse gas emissions are major issues for the fertility most tropical agricultural soils. Getachew's research comprises three components which were conducted under two agro-ecosystems and soil types in Australia using maize and peanut and in Ethiopia using barley as test crops.
