Students studying engineering at James Cook University have access to various scholarships.
Some of the scholarships available to JCU Engineering students are listed below.
Australian Defence Force
Undergraduate students aiming for careers as Engineering Officers in the Royal Australian Navy, Australian Army or Royal Australian Air Force are paid up to study at James Cook University. Engineering scholarships are offered to all years and for further information visit Australian Defence Force

Cairns City Council Cadetship
Cairns Regional Council offers Cadet positions in various disciplines including Engineering. As a cadet you are employed by Council whilst undertaking external studies at University. Cadetships are advertised as they become available on the council website.
Incitec Pivot offers a 4 year scholarship to a final year high school student who enrols in engineering at JCU the following year. To be eligible, the student must be committed to studying chemical engineering and must take chemical engineering after the first year and obtain at least a credit average.
Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads
