Course pre-requisites |
Completion of an AQF Level 7 Bachelor Degree in a discipline cognate to the proposed area of research (or qualifications recognised by the Division as equivalent); and. Achievement of an overall grade point average of 5.0 (i.e. credit average) across their bachelor degree, with credits or better in specific discipline areas. |

Applicants of non-English speaking backgrounds must meet the English language proficiency requirements of Band 1 – Schedule II of the JCU Admissions Policy. |

Admission to the honours degree shall follow on directly from the pass degree and normally no later than five years following completion of the pass degree. Applicants who have graduated with a bachelor (pass) degree from another university or who graduated more than five years ago may be required to complete such coursework or assessment as the College Dean recommends. |
