any UG 123

Choose any level 1, 2 or 3 undergraduate subject -

How to: choose option subject

You can choose any subject (within reason) from any discipline at JCU to enrol in for this ‘elective’ subject. Certain subjects do have limitations on them, for example, only Occupational Therapy students can enrol in OT1001 and only Education students can enrol in ED1421. This detail is specified in the subject description on Subject Search. You need to read these details carefully when choosing subjects. External subjects may be completed from any location.

Please note: The Bachelor of Arts requires completing 12 credit points at level 1 before proceeding to level 2 or 3 subjects. This may change if you have advanced standing.

Choose subjects you find interesting or that will support your studies (e.g. satisfy the prerequisites for your majors and/or support your career aspirations). To help you choose in First Year you might want to refer to the recommended list for your areas of interest – You should use Subject Search to find subjects that are available to you in the study period you are enrolling in. For help, please refer to How to use Subject Search.
