Bachelor of Engineering

Bachelor of Engineering

The Bachelor of Engineering requires you to complete 96 credit points. This will take 4 years if you study full time, which consists of eight subjects (24 credit points) per year.

Contact your Divisional Enrolment Team if you are studying part time or have applied for credit for previous study - your study plan will be different.

Students wanting to study in Cairns can complete level 1 and then will be required to transfer to Townsville to continue degree.

Study Plan

Enrol in three steps!

  1. CHOOSE SUBJECTS. Use the tables below to choose your subjects. You can also download a planner to make the planning process easier. Note: Core subjects will already be on your study plan in eStudent.

  2. CHECK TIMETABLE. Check subject timetables to ensure you don't have lecture clashes.

  3. ENROL IN SUBJECTS. After you have chosen your subjects, right click and open eStudent in new tab to start enrolling.

PLEASE NOTE: Students commencing mid-year must commence with MA1008 in Study Period 7 commencing 27 June 2016.  Students are then required to enrol in MA1009 in study period 2 and MA1003 in Study Period 3 (block mode) the following year.  Because of the need to take both MA1008 and MA1009 (instead of MA1000 which is offered in study period 1), students will be unable to choose a minor but will, however, be able to choose 3 elective subjects from one of the minor streams.
