Diploma of Higher Education

The Diploma of Higher Education is designed to help people who may not meet the academic requirements for entry into a Bachelor degree course. Successful completion of the Diploma will give you a recognised qualification in its own right and allow you to enter many JCU Bachelor degree programs.

To apply you must have completed Year 12 or be turning 18 in your first year of study.

Applications to start in Semester 1, 2018 must be received by 30 January 2018, except for the Diploma of Higher Education Business Major, which closes on 12 February 2018.

Applications received after these dates will be eligible to start mid-year (Semester 2, 2018).

Pathway Courses

If you don't have formal academic qualifications, experience gained through life and work may enable you to enter one of JCU's Pathway Programs, giving you the prerequisites for entry into a degree.

James Cook University reserves the right to alter any course or admission requirement without prior notice.
