Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, mRNA vaccines were largely unknown to GPs. Now, having had to respond to rapid developments
in the field of vaccinology, GPs are adept at immunising patients with these new vaccines, and appreciate the variety of vaccine
technologies now available.

Please join us for an evening discussion with Professor Denise Doolan, a molecular immunologist, who has spent much of her
career has focused on vaccine development and Dr Robert Norton, a clinical microbiologist and current Director of Microbiology and
Pathology at Townsville University Hospital. Together, they will update us the latest trends in vaccinology, their application in clinical
practice, provide some historical perspective, and answer questions regarding the various SARS-CoV2 vaccines.
