The Economic Geology Research Centre (EGRU), at James Cook University, is hosting the fourth in the series of workshops on the Mineral Systems of the Mount Isa Inlier, in Mount Isa.
This workshop aims to bring together academia, industry and government organisations to discuss topics of interest relevant to exploration in the Mount Isa region.
This workshop will include:
- 1.5 days of face-to-face technical sessions*
- presentations by invited speakers
- 0.5 day viewing of drill core from various deposits in the region, at the John Campbell Miles Drill Core Storage Facility (Mount Isa Core Library)
*Note: The workshop numbers will be limited by the current COVID venue space restrictions applicable to the Verona Hotel.
