JCU Learning & Teaching Innovation Grants

Purpose and Eligibility

Learning and Teaching Innovation Grants will be available in 2025 to support specific activities related to digital innovation.

Academic and professional staff (either continuing or with a contract that ends after the grants report due date) are eligible to apply, either as teams or individuals, providing they have the support of a relevant ADLT, Academic Head and/or relevant Dean/Director.

Learning and Teaching Innovation Grants Information Session

All projects must commence in 2025 and be completed by 31 December 2025.

A final report on the project is to be submitted to Grants and Awards within three months of the completion of the project.

Project Areas

A.  Online and/or digital assessment and feedback

B.  Promoting active learning and student engagement

C.  Immersive learning

Type 1:  Small grants of up to $5,000 each
