The Education Division strives to provide a seamless transition for students throughout their journey at JCU. The Division encompasses a broad range of Directorates to deliver this.
Learning, Teaching and Student Engagement
The Directorate of Learning, Teaching and Student Engagement supports innovation and best practice in learning and teaching to ensure our students have the best possible learning experiences. Working across all JCU campuses and centres, the Directorate supports programs in:
- Staff induction and ongoing professional learning
- Learning technologies
- Curriculum and assessment design
- Pathways, student transitions and careers

- Services to ensure equity and student well being
The Directorate delivers a number of University-wide projects and programs that support academic staff, including delivery of the Graduate Certificate of Education (Academic Practice) and support for teaching and learning grants and award applications.
Student Services
The Student Services Directorate is responsible for managing and coordinating a broad range of student administrative and enquiry management functions and services that are critical to the student experience. Services cover all stages of the student life cycle, from initial enquiry to graduation. Areas within the Directorate include:

Library and Information Services
