James Cook University has received funding from the Queensland Government to construct the Australian Institute of Tropical Health and Medicine (AITHM). Additional funding has also been received from the Commonwealth Government of Australia for the Translational Research Facility (TRF).
Construction on the building commenced January 2015 and is scheduled for completion at the end of April 2016.
The Construction contractor is Watpac Construction Pty Ltd.
Daryl Jackson Architecture is the Principal Consultant and Architect for the project supported by a team of sub-consultants.
