The Course Coordinator Essentials forum aims to enable Course Coordinator to fulfil their responsibilities as per the Charter of Academic Responsibilities for Academic Quality and Governance.
In particular, the forum will work towards supporting Course Coordinators in providing curriculum leadership within a course to ensure:
Who should attend: All new Course Coordinators and then every 3 years, but Coordinators are encouraged to attend more frequently because programming will always reflect new developments.
When: Friday April 20, 2018 from 9:00AM – 11:50AM (Please arrive by 8:50AM for a 9:00AM start)
Staff from other / remote locations may participate via a virtual meeting room (VMR). Please note that during March, the current Virtual Meeting Room (VMR) services will be replaced by Zoom video conferencing across all JCU campus locations. All staff and students at JCU will be issued with a Zoom account. Further information, including your meeting ID, will be provided here as it becomes available.
Please register via the online registration form to attend this workshop. If you plan to participate via the virtual meeting room option, please add a comment in the "other details" field identifying that you will be attending via VMR and your location, ie from Mackay, Mt Isa etc. If we have significant numbers from any one rural location, we will consider booking a room on your campus to facilitate the connection.
Participants are encouraged to bring a laptop or other mobile device to these sessions. Materials for all sessions will be provided electronically, or by hard copy on request.
Please advise us of any special dietary requirements to assist in catering for morning tea.
