Schools that are located outside of the Townsville region are welcome to participate in a residential program starting on 17 July. Students will have the opportunity to spend a night in our accommodation facilities on campus in Townsville, meet with current students and become familiar with student life at JCU. The following day students will then being the University experience program. There will be a small fee for the residential program, which will include the cost of accommodation, dinner and breakfast.
The University Experience program is designed to demystify university, break down barriers and address student concerns regarding attending university. Students will have the opportunity to explore and participate in two areas of study, assisting them to made decision about applying to university. There is no cost associated with the University Experience program, lunch is provided.
