EMBRACE UNCERTAINTY & CO-CREATE OPTIONS FOR FUTURE

  • Design thinking applied for strategy and innovation
  • Linear thinking vs. The Double Loop
  • What is your Point of View? Do you have one?
  • Context matters Using the Context Map (tool), understand what are the trends driving the future? How might we turn uncertainty into opportunity?

UNDERSTAND YOUR CUSTOMERS

  • Who are your customers and what do they need?
  • Understand your customer using tools like the Empathy Map and the Value Proposition Canvas.
  • Learn the art of asking the right questions of the right people

PROTOTYPE: GET INTO THE MAKERS’ MINDSET

  • Prototyping with the Business Model Canvas (tool)
  • Creating value propositions for the future: How might we co-create future-proof business models?
  • What are our design criteria (tool) and how might we test them using prototypes?

VALIDATE & EXPERIMENT

  • How to find the riskiest assumption with the Riskiest Assumption Canvas (tool) and shape Experiments with the Experiment Canvas (tool)
  • Get out of the Building!
  • How might you invalidate (or validate) your assumptions with your prototypes?

THE ART OF STORYTELLING

  • Pivoting & Pitching your Ideas. Updating your idea and prototypes based on customer validation craft your pitch!
  • Prepare your story! Construct a story that people care to listen to
  • Use the Investment Readiness Level of Steve Blank as a roadmap (tool)
