JCU COVID-19 Webinar Series EP 3: COVID-19 Exit Strategies

Join JCU researchers for a presentation on the latest developments of a coronavirus vaccine and treatments. Discussion will also include current modelling of COVID-19, what to be wary of and where to get the right information; and how the World Health Organization pre-empted COVID-19 with a master protocol based on Disease X.

Featured panellists:

Dr Diana Rojas Alvarez, lecturer in communicable disease control for the Division of Tropical Health and Medicine and a member of the World Health Organization’s Collaborating Centre for Vector-borne and Neglected Tropical Diseases.

Professor Emma McBryde, Infectious Disease Physician, Professorial Research Fellow - Infectious Disease and Epidemiology, Australian Institute of Tropical Health and Medicine (AITHM).

The webinar will be facilitated by Associate Professor Peta-Ann Teague, Director of JCU GP Training.
