AMA Queensland Junior Doctor Conference

We’re excited to announce that the AMA Queensland Junior Doctor Conference will be coming to Townsville this year in June!
The event is open to students through to registrars, and it is an opportunity to learn from exhibitors, keynote speakers, panels of experts and breakout sessions on high value clinical skills, life and survival skills.
The conference will start with a morning session held at JCU Townsville. From there, you’ll mingle with other junior doctors and medical students, as we move to the beautiful Magnetic Island for the afternoon sessions and speed dating with specialties workshop. On Sunday, we’ll be back on the mainland for a hands-on procedural skills interactive workshop by academic and clinical specialists at the Townsville University Hospital.
