Academy of Modern Languages: Online Short Courses

If you intend to travel or work overseas, or you are interested in other languages and cultures, you should consider enrolling in a short course offered by the Academy of Modern Languages at JCU.
Our short language courses are offered online. Each class is 2 hours (6:00-8:00pm) once a week for 5 weeks. A minimum of twelve (12) enrolments are required to conduct the class. There are no exams or assignments, just a group of people learning another language in a virtual classroom with the support of our experienced and passionate language tutor.
Students attending at least 80 percent of the course will receive a certificate of participation on completion.
To participate in these online classes, you will need to have access to the internet, a computer, a webcam and a microphone.
